Its been a long time, but Hazard Shield 1.9 is finally here! It includes a ton of updates, including scheduled scans and updates, and a new super fast scanning engine with a better fast / smart scan.
There are still a few issues that need to be addressed, so if you encounter a bug, please let us know.

Sorry for all the delays, I had planned to release Hazard Shield 1.9 final about a week ago. The program itself is finished, however the realtime protection is still under progress. Hazard Shield 1.9 final will be released sometime this week, along with a huge database update.
For those of you interested, I started keeping track of the changes that will be made from beta 12 to 1.9 final. Until I publish it under changelogs, you can view the list here.

It appears quite a few antivirus programs are detecting Hazard Shield's setup as a threat. I really don't feel like contacting all of them and waiting forever for them to remove the false positive (it took AVG 2 months to remove the instsrv.exe false positive).
Rather, I am going to change setup programs. I used Install Creator to create Hazard Shield's current setup. I am planning on using CreateInstall Free for Hazard Shield 1.9's setup. Another added plus, this one comes with an uninstaller that will be able to remove ALL parts of Hazard Shield, including the realtime protection!

Its been a long time, but the website is finally up and running. There are still some pages under construction and a few dead links, but hopefully it will be 100% functional soon.
The next release of Hazard Shield will be 1.9 final, including a new insane fast scanning engine, the ability to schedule scans and updates, and multiple bug fixes for Hazard Shield and realtime!

There is a serious glitch in Hazard Shield's realtime that causes it to enter an infinite loop, using incredible amounts of cpu. It is recommended to uninstall Hazard Shield's realtime protection and wait for the next release.
A security vulnerability has also been discovered in Hazard Shield's realtime. Details will be available later. This issue will also be fixed in the next release.
