Advisory
A bug has been found in Hazard Shield 1.9.0.1 that causes it to remain in memory after a scheduled scan if Hazard Shield is set to check for updates on startup. Now heres the funny part. I can't seem to find the backup source files for 1.9.0.1, so I can't release a bugfix, and version 2.0.0.0 is even more glitchy and can't be released yet.
So, this is an advisory. Don't enable checking for updates on startup (its the first option under the settings tab). If you have this option enabled, uncheck it, open the task manager, and kill any instances of HazardShield.exe that is running under SYSTEM. Sorry for this inconvenience.
For those of you who are interested, Hazard Shield 2.0.0.0 beta will be released soon, so check back in a few days =)
